Meet Dr. Brenda Gong
Dr. Brenda Gong, DDS, GNM
Dr. Gong is a native of South Korea, but she completed her higher education in North Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene with a minor in biology and then earned her doctor of dental surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following her dental education, Dr. Gong has completed 100+ hours of continuing education annually and has advanced training in dental implants and IV sedation. Dr. Gong is also recognized as a practitioner in the field of GNM (Gneuromuscular Dentistry). GNM is a combined understanding of both gnathological and neuromuscular principles that is used to create less invasive and more effective treatment options. The successful marriage of these principles allows Dr. Gong to diagnose and treat more complex cases that include TMJ and TMD issues, and other underlying issues that can cause headaches, facial pain, lower back pain, vertigo, and ringing in the ears. Located in Angier, Dr. Gong serves patients from Fuquay Varina, Sanford, Selma, Benson, and the surrounding areas!
As a respected member of the dental community, Dr. Gong actively participates in a number of professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Gong puts her years of training and experience to good use providing a wide array of dental services for patients at Accent Family Dentistry. Her dedication to delivering superior care resulted in an award for outstanding dental implant placement and restoration from the Academy of Osseointegration.
